Yolanda del Rio, one of the most prominent Ranchera singers of the 20th century, comes to San Jose.
Del Rio takes her inspiration from famous golden age Ranchera singers such as Lola Beltran, Lucha Villa and Amalia Mendoza. She was discovered as the age of 15, landing a contract with RCA Records. She quickly became successful broadening her touring base beyond Mexico through the United State, the rest of Central America and parts of Europe.
With notable tracks “Se Me Olvido Otra Vez”, “Tus Maletas en la Puerta”, “Llorar, Llorar, Llorar” and “Camas Separadas”, as well as Billboard Latin charters “Valgame Dios” and “Una Intrusa”, she has sold nearly 20 million records worldwide.
Tickets are on sale as of May 2.
