sjDANCEco’s fall performance Spellbound features cutting-edge dance by company choreographers Nhan Ho, Fred Mathews and and artistic director Maria Basile, as well as guest choreographers Hsiang Hsiu Lin (Taipei) and Colin Connor (Los Angeles). This production will take you on an inner journey that will leave you mesmerized and delighted.
This event features an array of unique choreography that is accompanied with live music by the award winning San Jose Chamber Orchestra. The union of live dance and music will heighten your experience and uplift your spirit to go beyond all expectations!
sjDANCEco consists of seven champion dancers — Maya Argrawal, Raven Bautista, Kevin Gaytan, Luis Isiordia, Wade Reynolds and Alexandra Sheppard — who bring the choreography to life!
sjDANCEco, celebrating their 23rd year, is a cornerstone of dance in the South Bay Area. Their mission is to nurture the creative spirit of professional and emerging dance artists and to inspire diverse audiences to discover dance.
