Molotov is an alternative rock band formed in 1995 in Mexico City, currently composed of Tito Fuentes (Guitar and Vocal), Miky Huidobro (Bass and Vocal), Paco Ayala (Bass and Vocal) and Randy Ebright (Drums and Vocal). They are one of the best-selling Latin bands of all time, having sold more than four million copies of their albums worldwide.
Their songs are characterized by humor lacra, with criticism of the government (not only Mexican) and politics, as they also deal with women and parties. The two basses make it have an explosive sound. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English.
