FanimeCon, held primarily at the San Jose Convention Center (May 23-26, 2025), is Northern California’s largest anime convention. Packed with video programming, extraordinary costumes, music, games, tournaments, sensational panels and renowned guests, this annual celebration of Japanese art and popular culture entertains a colorful spectrum of fans and friends.
FanimeCon is brought together by a group of hard-working fans. These fans come together every year to create a new convention to share with others with similar tastes. From the staffers and volunteers to the attendees, the passion for anime and Japanese culture brings them closer. Over 25,000 enthusiasts have attended FanimeCon in the past.
