Hong Kong actor and singer Lui Fong was the winner of the 2nd TVB New Singer Singing Contest. His first solo album was a big hit in the fall of 1985, which featured the hit “Words I Can Not Hear”, “You’ve Made Me Happy”, “Sweet Sixteen” and “Ordinary Person”. That album came out at the same time as the TV serial Police Cadet, and his on-screen persona of Carina Lau helped his music career. His next few albums continued the success, leading to a joint co-headlining series of concerts with Jacky Cheung.
