Three-time Latin Grammy-nominated artist and fashion forward rapper Álvaro Díaz is the next urban Latin artist on his way to being a global star.
In 2025, he sold out his Latin America and Spain tour — selling over 150,000 tickets — and did his biggest shows to date selling 30,000 tickets across two nights in Puerto Rico’s Coliseo.
His newest album, Omakase, was released May 22, 2026. Rolling Stone ranked it as #2 of their list, “The Most Anticipated Latin Albums of 2026”. The album release is being followed by a tour of the U.S., Latin America and Europe.
Omakase‘s first single, “Paranoia” was produced by award-winning producer Tainy. It was included in Rolling Stone’s “The 50 Best Latin and Spanish-Language Songs of 2025”. The single that followed, “Seleda”, charted Top 5 in Colombia and was included in Rolling Stone Español’s “50 Grandes Canciones de 2025”.
Last year, he reached 1 billion streams with his deluxe album Sayonara Finales Alternos, which includes the hit single “XQ ERES ASI”, featuring Nathy Peluso, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy 2025 for Best Urban Song.
