The San Jose Youth Symphony’s Philharmonic Orchestra, under the artistic leadership of Music Director and Conductor Yair Samet (pictured), presents its 2018-2019 Spring Concert.
The program will open with Ginastera’s Fausto Criollo Overture, Op. 9 and conclude with Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances.
This concert will also showcase one of the winners from the 2018 Young Artists’ Competition, proudly sponsored by the San Jose Symphony Foundation. Outstanding young soloist Bryan Sun will be performing Glazunov’s Violin Concerto in A Minor. Another highlight of the evening will be the orchestra’s performance of Stravinsky’s Tango.
