Hispanic music icon Leo Dan is considered to be one of the most prominent singer-songwriters in Latin America. His music has conquered hearts across all Spanish-speaking countries.
With a career spanning over 50 years, Leo Dan has brought his music to the most important stages in over 100 countries including the United States and Canada and across Latin America, Europe and Australia. He’s composed over 3,000 songs, and recorded in different genres and languages with over 55 million records sold and counting.
Inspired by rock music since childhood, Leo Dan had his first big hit “Celia” shortly after moving to Buenos Aires and signing with CBS. Dan spent the next decade and a half in Spain and Mexico writing and recording music, including “Siempe Estoy Pensando en Ella”, “Pareces una Nena” and “Esa Pared.”
His music has been performed by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Juan Gabriel, Café Tacvba, Vicente Fernandez, José José, Pedro Fernandez, Ramón Ayala, Los Temerarios and many more.
With more than 75 albums, Leo Dan is recognized worldwide as an icon of Hispanic music. His hits have transcended borders and barriers of time. In 2012, Leo Dan received the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
He has been celebrated for his love of music for more than five decades and measures the success of his career by the applause of his audiences. Leo Dan currently resides in Miami with his family, where he continues to travel and record, produce and compose music.
