Emblem3’s #BandLife Tour will feature a date at City National Civic (formerly known as the San Jose Civic) on March 12 with special guest MKTO. The tour, in support of Emblem3’s debut album Nothing To Lose, brings the trio’s hard-hitting live show for an up-close and personal performance in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. Each night, Emblem3 will allow fans to engage directly by allowing them to vote for the encore song from a catalogue of fan favorites.
Popular duo MKTO, comprised of Tony Oller (22) and Malcolm Kelly (21) will open for Emblem3 on the #BandLife Tour. The band’s new single “Classic” is at radio now and the music video has amassed over 5.5 Million views. MKTO have seen international success with multi platinum singles in Australia and New Zealand and are currently in the studio with songwriters/producers Eman and Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Beyoncé, Ne-Yo, Rihanna) working on their debut album to be released early 2014. 2013 was an exceptional year for Emblem3. Nothing To Lose was released in July and debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, marking the highest first week sales of any other act from The X Factor US and the biggest debut album sales week from any US television competition series artist in 2013. This fall, the band supported Selena Gomez on her nationwide Stars Dance arena tour following their own sold-out headline run in the spring. Additionally, Emblem3 won the Choice Music Breakout Group Award at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, joining past Breakout Award winners including One Direction, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Selena Gomez.
